MATIC – MD is Micro-Controller based auto-matic Karl Fischer Titrator designed for accurate estimation of moisture contents in various samples. It is used in QA, QC and R&D labs in Pharmaceutical, Chemical and other industries.The instrument is equipped with a built-in Magnetic Stirrer and Motorized Dispenser for addition of Karl Fischer Reagent. A backlit graphic display and feather touch keyboard on front panel make the instrument easy to operate.To start with the titration, Methanol is added to the titration cell and is neutralized by Karl Fischer reagent added automatically. The volume of the K. F. Reagent added is displayed on the backlit graphic display. End point of the titration is indicated by an audio signal. After blank titration, the reagent is standardized by adding known quantity of water. A built-in CAL program is used to determine the Average Factor of the K. F. reagent. After blank titration and the Factor determination, several samples can be tested one after the other.
